About Me

I am a book and paper conservator based in Brighton, UK.

I have been working as a conservator since 2011 when I graduated from West Dean College with an MA in Conservation Studies. I work part time at The National Archives where I repair a variety of documents from within the collection. I also help prepare documents for external loans and exhibitions and in 2017 I oversaw the loan of the Great Domesday Book to Lincoln Castle. I also regularly do freelance conservation work for the Tate Galleries and the Sussex Conservation Consortium.

I have been an accredited member of the Institute of Conservation since 2017, I am also the Chair of the Institute of Conservation’s Book and Paper Group Events and Training Committee who organise talks, workshops and events to improve training and development opportunities within the profession.

I am passionate about my work and really love the satisfaction in returning form and function to damaged books and paper objects.
